Pastor Kris

Epiphany is thrilled to welcome this fearless spirit as a member of our faith family and our new pastor starting September 1, 2018.

Rev. Kristofer Avise-Rouse was born in Des Moines, Iowa and has lived all over the country. After careers in ad specialty production, customer service, and software testing Pastor Kris attended Eden Seminary, graduating in 2006. Ordained at St. Paul UCC, Waterloo, IL that July, Kris served at Immanuel UCC, Darlington, WI and St. Paul UCC, Columbia, IL. A non-binary genderqueer, Kris uses they/them pronouns and goes by Pastor Kris, Pastor Kryssie, or PK. Their family consists of their spouse Nicole, two sons - Kristian and Casey, and two dogs - Murphy and Chewy. When not doing ministry PK enjoys reading, video games, disc golf and boats.
